Small Group Collaborative Activity (Teacher and Peer-Assessment)
During this activity, the teacher will measure comprehension by questioning students about their strategies for grouping animals. Also, the teacher will acquire evidence of understanding when the small groups share their final product with the class. A rubric will be utilized to evaluate these products. Students will work collectively as a group to assess their final product by utilizing the self-evaluation rubric. Extension: Problem Based Learning (PBL) Activity To extend this activity, students would work with the teacher to choose and research an endangered animal. Students would devise a plan for helping this animal. This plan, guided by the interests and goals of the students, could include fundraising and awareness activities. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DAILY LESSON LOG AND DETAILED LESSON PLAN Daily Lesson Log is a template that teachers used to log parts of their daily lessons. It covers a day's or a week's worth of lessons. ... Detailed Lesson Plan is a thorough description of a teacher's instructions for a particular class. Daily Lesson Log (DLL) is a template teachers use to log parts of their daily lesson. ... Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) is a teacher's “roadmap” for a lesson. It contains a detailed description of the steps a teacher will take to teach a particular topic. Lesson Plans are complete activities that you do with students that have learning goals, activities and assessment opportunities. These are the key plans that a teacher would use to organize the students’ learning. Depending on its complexity, one lesson plan could be done in part of one class period or might continue over a series of classes. In detailed lesson plan, the expected routines, lesson proper, activities are presented. Questions and answers are written. Responses of the students are recorded . In semi-detailed lesson plan has only contains procedures or steps to be used in the lesson proper. A detailed lesson plan is exactly that – it includes full information about your student group and factors impacting on their learning, e.g previous learning and such. It also includes a comprehensive set of notes covering aims and objectives, content to be taught, methods to use and means to ‘test’ the objectives. Download 1.6 Mb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
