Abstract: Currently, the increasing density of cities has led to a significant increase in the number of vehicles on the roads. This, in turn, caused traffic congestion to become an urgent problem in major cities of the world. The increase in traffic jams not only has a negative impact on pedestrian traffic, but also creates a number of problems that harm society, such as air pollution, increased fuel consumption, and wasted time. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate traffic in the city in order to reduce the volume of motor vehicles, improve safety and eliminate traffic congestion. Most of the modern methods created to ensure the orderly movement of drivers and passengers are based on smart technologies and play a key role in controlling the movement of vehicles through automated systems. In this article, we will discuss such methods of traffic regulation, analyzing the ongoing research. Keywords: Adaptive Traffic Control Systems (ATCS), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Automated Traffic Enforcement, Smart Parking Guidance Systems, Electronic Toll Collection Systems Shaharlarning zichligi va avtomobillarning miqdori ortib borayotganligi sababli kundalik hayotimizda transport vositalari harakatida juda ko’p tirbandlik holatlari kuzatilmoqda. Bugungi kunda global muammoga aylanib ulgurgan tirbandlik insonlarning vaqti va pullari sarfini orttirish bilan iqtisodiy tomonlama zarar keltirayotgan bo’lsa, turli baxtsiz hodisalarni yuzaga keltirish bilan sog’lik taraflama aziyat berib kelmoqda. Shuningdek, yoqilg’idan ajraladigan ekologiyani ifloslantiruvchi omillar miqdori transportlarning betartib harakati oqibatida yanada oshib borishi International scientific-practical conference on the theme: «INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, NETWORKS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS ITN&T-2023» 475 | bu muammoni keng muhokama qilish uchun asosiy sabablardan biri ekanligini ko’rsatadi. Zamonaviy texnologiyalarning jadal rivoji bu kabi dolzarb muammolarni bartaraf qilishda aksariyat hollarda aqlli texnologiyalarga asoslangan turlicha metodlarni taqdim qiladi. Aqlli texnologiyalar transport vositalarining real vaqtdagi harakatlari haqida aniq ma’lumotlarni bog’langan tizimlarga yuborish orqali atrof-muhitda ro’y berayotgan tirbandlik belgilarini yig’ib beradi. Hozirda tadqiq qilinayotgan ko’plab tirbandlikni kamaytirish usullari ham ushbu ma’lumotlar asosida ish ko’radi. Bu usullarning barchasi o’ziga xos ustunliklarga ega bo’lib, faqat samaradorligi, tezligi, resurslar miqdori va shunga o’xshash mezonlar bilan farqlanadi. Umuman olganda, tirbandlikni kamaytirish usullarining ikki turi mavjud: infratuzilmaga asoslangan usullar va qoidalarga asoslangan usullar. Infratuzilmaga asoslangan usullar transportni tirband hududdan boshqa yo'llarga yo'naltirish uchun yo'llar tarmog'ini qo'shish yoki o'zgartirishni talab qiladi. Qoidalarga asoslangan usullar yo'l tarmog'idan foydalanish vaqtini tartibga solish orqali tirbandlikni kamaytiradi [ 1 ], [ 2 ]. Qoidalarga asoslangan tirbandlikni kamaytirish usullari atrof-muhitni sezish va atrofdagi transport vositalari va infratuzilma, ulangan va avtomatlashtirilgan tizimlar bilan doimiy aloqa qilish orqali atrofdagi sharoitlarni tezda o'zgartirishga qodir.
