Again there are numerous activities for this stage and what you choose will depend on the language you are teaching and on the level of your students. However, information gaps, role plays, interviews, simulations, find someone who, spot the differences between two pictures, picture cues, problem solving, personalisation activities and board games are all meaningful activities which give students the opportunity to practise the language more freely.

Discovering grammar and visualizing how these rules work in a sentence allow for easier retention of the concept than if the students were given an explanation that was disconnected from examples of the concept. The main goal of the inductive teaching method is the retention of grammar concepts, with teachers using techniques that are known to work cognitively and make an impression on students’ contextual memory.

This course paper is devoted to the description of types of grammar exercises used for A2 level learners. In teaching, this type of expression is used to express the thoughts and ideas of writers by fully pictures or partly pictures – partly written way.
The aim of the work is to present an overview of types of grammar exercises used for A2 level learners, and the impacts of grammar exercises to their language learning skills.
The tasks of the investigation include:
- to review general information about grammar exercises;
- to review using grammar exercises for A2 learners;
- to analyze the importance of grammar exercises for A2 learners;
- to explain the roles and functions of grammar exercises for A2 learners;
-to suggest practical exercise in mastering the knowledge related to types of grammar exercises used for A2 level learners;
The main language material of the work has been gathered from the Internet sources, literary works and the textbooks in English literature of various authors. Thus, writers, their works, the evidence of picture stories in words, their definitions and examples in which the words are used, are taken from the authentic English sources, so that the evidence of the research results could be doubtless.
The issues raised in this research have been a subject of discussion in using picture stories for young learners for more than a hundred years, but until now there is no clear understanding why this interrelation takes place.
