United States dollar
The United States dollar ($, USD) is the official currency of the United States and its territories. It is divided into 100 cents.
Being taken over by the Congress of the Confederation of the United States on July 6, 1785, the U.S. dollar is the currency most used in international transactions, several countries use it as their official currency, and in many others it is the real currency.
The symbol «$» is used for the U.S. dollar. It is accepted that it comes from the symbol for the New Spanish peso which in turn comes from the Spanish Coat of arms.

Bill Gates William (Bill) Henry Gates is a chairman and chief software architect of Microsoft Corporation, the worldwide leader in software services and Internet technologies for personal computing. He was born in 1955 in Washington and grew up in a socially prominent family with his two sisters. Their father was a lawyer. Their mother was a schoolteacher. At the age of thirteen Bill discovered his interest in software and began programming computers. In 1973 Gates entered Harvard University and there he developed a version of the programming language BASIC.
