Linguopragmatic aspects of fictional texts in English and Karakalpak languages

The practical importance of the research: is the possibility of using its 
materials in the course of Lexicology, Stylistics, Text Linguistics and the theory of 
intercultural communications. The results of the work can also help students to 
enrich their lexical resources of English language. English teachers can use these 
materials on practicing communicative skills in teaching process for practical 
seminar courses on Lexicology and Linguoculturology. 
Methodological basis of dissertation research are the decrees of the President of 
Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirzyaev and enactments by government on the development of 
science and education. In actual linguistic plan methodological base consists of 
fundamental works in the field of general linguistics (W. von Humboldt, A.A. 
Potebnya, V. V. Vinogradov, L.V. Sherba, G. O. Vinokur, R. Jacobson), cognitive 
linguistics (E.S. Kubryakova, N. N. Boldyrev, T.A. van Dijk, J. Lakoff), 
linguopragmatics (N. D. Arutyunova, E.V. Paducheva, G. Leech, Yu.N. Karaulov, 
V. V. Vorobyov, V. N. Thelia, A.V. Karasik), text linguistics and stylistics (Sh. 
Balli, I.R. Galperin, I.V. Arnold, Z.Y. Turayeva). Of great importance in our 
research are also the works of Uzbek scholars in the field of the above-named

The methods used in the research: semantic analysis, descriptive method, 
analytical, method of stylistic analysis, cognitive methods of analysis within the 
framework of an interdisciplinary and holistic approaches:

the identification method, aimed at revealing, identifying and grouping 
stylistically marked linguistic units; 

the descriptive method, aimed at description and systematization of 
linguistic data in order to determine the essential characteristics of the analyzed 
linguistic material
