языка производит к более точному пониманию, 
неправильная – приводит порой к полному непониманию 
фразеологической единицы. 
Дидактическая иллюстрация включает в себя 
систему пояснения фразеологических единиц при
помощи дидактического материала, изъятого или из 
художественной литературы или учебного материала. В 
связи с тем, что цитаты из художественной литературы, 
используемые в качестве иллюстративного материала 
порой представляют некоторые трудности для понимания, 
составителю словаря следует использовать более 
адаптированный иллюстративный материал, доступный 
для понимания.
Подтверждением вышесказанному могут служить 
следующие примеры которые являются доказательством 
того насколько важным является грамотно и верно 
подобранный 
иллюстративный 
материал 
при 
интерпретации фразеологических единиц [Walter, 1972; 
Flavell and Flavell, 1994; Speake, 2004; Spears, 2000; Gruber, 2005-

фразеологические 
единицы обладают не выводимым семантическим значением и 
особенно, требуют использования дидактичной наглядности. 
Для более эффективного понимания английских ФЕ, 
относящихся к категории сращений по классификации В.В. 
Виноградова [Виноградов, 1977: 162-189], качественно и про-
думано составленный иллюстративный материал будет боль-
шим подспорьем и впоследствии, поможет студентам свобод-
но владеть английскими фразеологизмами на продвинутом 
уровне. Об этом пишет А.В. Кунин: «Изобразительная функция 
ФЕ существенно отличает их от слов. Метафорические и 
метонимические образы легко передаются при помощи 
зрительных образов» [Кунин, 1964: 76].
