This checklist highlights some important content areas that are crucial for the final exam.
Please keep in mind that not only theoretical knowledge is important, but also your ability to transfer that knowledge to concrete teaching situations or scenarios.
To illustrate, you might be asked to categorize a particular situation by using the correct theoretical term, to suggest adequate learning tasks or activities for a concrete classroom context and learning goal, or to reflect about appropriate learner or teacher actions in a specific situation. For any type of task, you should be able to give reasons and to relate your suggestions and decisions back to the theoretical knowledge base.
Teacher competencies
I am familiar with several competencies that are essential for teaching.
For pupils to understand how to apply the principles of the lessons to the real world, the teacher must be able to organize, analyze, and find/create activities that target all modalities. The teacher must also be able to connect with them effectively in order to slowly and clearly explain the concepts.
