October 25-26, 2019 UDC 683.12 INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AND THE USE OF THE COGNITIVE APPROACH IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE Chudabayeva G.A., English language teacher Department of physical culture and sports of Almaty oblast – specialized boarding school for the Olympic reserve of the regional and Taldykorgan city state institution, Taldykorgan city, RK E-mail: zhan_zxc@mail.ru This article is about the relevance of the task of creating intercultural communicative competence - the ability to allow a linguistic person to go beyond his or her own culture and acquire the qualities of a mediator of cultures without losing his or her own cultural identity. At the same time, one of the central tasks of the current stage of studying the problem is the creation of the concept of a cognitive approach to the formation of intercultural communicative competence. Key words: intercultural communicative competence, cognitive approach, teaching a foreign language Мақалада шет тіліндегі сабақтарда мәдениаралық коммуникативті құзіреттілікті қалыптастыру мәселесіне назар аударылады. Сонымен бірге, мәселені зерттеудің қазіргі кезеңінің басты міндеттерінің бірі – мәдениаралық коммуникациялық құзіреттілікті қалыптастыруда танымдық көзқарас тұжырымдамасын құру. Тірек сөздер: мәдениаралық коммуникациялық құзыреттілік, танымдық көзқарас, шет тілін оқыту. Статья освещает проблему создания межкультурной коммуникативной компетенции на занятиях по иностранному языку. В то же время одной из центральных задач современного этапа изучения проблемы является создание концепции когнитивного подхода к формированию межкультурной коммуникативной компетентности. Ключевые слова: межкультурная коммуникативная компетентность, когнитивный подход, обучение иностранному языку. The stability and prosperity of the world will largely depend on the ability of the young generation to be tolerant and respectful to other cultural and social characteristics, as well as will depend on the will and desire to understand each other and cooperate with each other with the aim to seek and find ways to resolve sociocultural conflicts. Increasing interest in intercultural communication in the modern world is obvious. It is associated with globalization processes, expressed not only in the processes of business integration, but also in the expansion of the information space, the development of new information technologies, the expansion of business and personal contacts. Our country is gradually entering the world community which necessitates new approaches in teaching foreign languages to learners of both linguistic and non-linguistic schools. The criterion for the effectiveness of real communication is its productivity and the achievement of mutually beneficial results [1]. These benefits are: the ability to adapt to new information tools, technologies and flowsin terms of determining their reliability, the desire to |
