Summarise the session by asking participants what the topic sentence is, how it should be and add that in order to write good topic sentences:
State the topic clearly – so both you and the reader will know what you are talking about.
Limit the topic – so that you will not have too much to talk about.
Give the topic a focus or point of view – so the reader will know why you are writing about the topic.
Make sure you have complete correct sentence – so that you can use it as the first sentence of the finished paragraph.
