MIRIM TARXON ((or Eng. Mirim Tarkhan) – one of the servants of Baisunghar Mirza [“B”, p. 44 a]
MIRIMBEK ((or Mirim Nosir) Eng. Mirim Beg) – He was the son of Nasir Beg. He actively participated in Babur’s returning Andijan and strengthening the kingdom. He also took part in fights for Samarkand throne in 1500. When Shaibai-Khan seized Fergana, he went to Kabul with Babur in 1507 and took part in conquering of provinces as Bajavr, Parola and Behra between 1518-1519 years. Q.E. MIRMINJON ((or Mirminxon) Eng. Rubus caesius) – It is a bush from the family of Rosaceae. It can grow with height 50-150 cms with much of thorns. It blossoms in May-June and ripens on June-July. It can grow in territory of Asia, Iran, Central Asia, Caucasus and Western Siberia. In Uzbekistan the bush grows on the banks of canals, sleeps of mounts. Babur compared Indian plant “korunda” to “mirminjon”. K.T. MIRMURTOZ - Name of a scientist from Herat lived in the XV th century. He was a religious man with deep lnowledge in many other sciences. Babur hinted about his interest for playing chess. He wrote that if Mirmurtaz find two men to play chess with he would play worth one of them while keeping the other wait by force to play next [“B”, on folio 178 b]. Q.E. MIRMUHAMMAD JOLABON – He was a shipman or boats man served to Babur [“B”, on folio 222 b]. B.Y. MIRMUHAMMAD YUSUF – He was a scientist from Herat lived in the XVI th century. He was an apprentice of shaikhul-islam Sayfiddin Ahmad Taftazoni. Babur met him in 1506, during his visit to Herat. Muhammad Yusuf was sent to Samarkand when Shaibani-Khan seized Herat in 1507. He returned to Herat soon after the death of Shaibani-Khan. Later he took to policy and accepted the Shiite sect, when the Safawids conquered Herat. He came to Babur as an ambassador of Safawids with Najmi Soni, calling Babur to participate in the war to Mowaraunahr. He personally took part in the conquest of Qarshi, attempted to stop the war burnt by Najmi Soni in 1512. When Najmi Soni was killed by the Shaibanids, he went to Hisar together with Babur, later travelled even far to Herat. He communicated with Babur even after their separation. But Babur’s relation with the Safawids got worse by that time. The Safawids executed Muhammad Yusuf in 1521 by the fake blaming that he intended to give throne of Herat to Babur. Q.E.
