Mixture or combination

MUHAMMAD BADAXSHIY(or Mullo Muhammad Badaxshiy, Jununiy) Eng. Muhammad Badakhshi) – He was a poet lived in the XV^th and XVI^th centuries. He was born in the second half of XV^th century in Ishkamish and spent his life in Khurasan, Mawarun-nahr and India. Firstly, he lived in Badakshan and created poems under the name of “Jununiy”. He was in close friendly relations with Nawai and Jami when he lived in Herat. It was mentioned in the book “Majolisun-nafois”.
He entered the service of Babur when Babur conquered Samarkand for the first time. “The other was Mulla Muhammad badakhshi. His poetry was good like masters. He created a poem with problem but it was no so good [“B”, on folio 181 a]. He went to Babur’s palace when Babur seized the throne of India. The book that (written in 1514) was mentioned in Baburname was devoted to Babur. The manuscript of the poem is kept in museum libraries of institute of OS (Oriental Studies) of Uzbekistan SA (Science Academy), Institute of OS (Oriental Studies) in Tadjikistan SA (Science Academy). There was developed genre of “The problem of poetry” and its theory with number of samples on the related topic.
There given two “problems poems” for each names “Babur”, “Podshoh”, “Malik”; two for the word “Shaham (My king)”, “Shahi zamon”, “Mirzo” and “Shoh Bobur”. The book begins with the ghazal in structure of “muvashshah-muammo” which turns out the name “Bobir” in vertical reading.
Ba jafo garchi az o’ xasta dilon bisyore,
Shodmonand g’amu dard shuda z-had bore.
On mah afkand ba girdi ruxi xud burqa’I zulf,
Oxir az halqa ruhi hesh pinhon kard, ore!
Burqa’ imshab fikan, ey mah, chi shaved gar binand,
Yak shabe dilshuda az go’sha rahi diydore.
Roziyam gar kunad on sho’x maro sina nishon,
To fitad novaki u dar bari man yak bore.
Yofti bar dari o’ bore Jununiy, digar.
Ro’ magardon zi dari shoheki, yoebi bore.
(Although there risen my sufferings from her insults, my soul is happy,
The moon took of a curtain fro the beautiful face.
Then hid her face with splits of hair,
This night takes off the curtains my moon face, what if I glance once.
In the meeting steet of my soul one night,
Once stroke that bow to my heart,
I agree that the bow targets my soul.

The first letter of the beginning four lines stands for the letters of name “BABUR” (B-B-U-R in Arabic, as vowels are not written) the latter lines express the “problem” hidden in the content (solution is Arabic “bob” of the Persian “dar” the beginning part (bo) from the word “bore” (Persian “bilan” (with)) represents the letter “R” and adding it to “bob” turns word “Babur”.)

MUHAMMAD BAHSHI (Eng. Muhammad Bakhshi) – He was one of the beg (noble)s served to Babur. He was sent to Kandahar to control treasure of Shah Beg and Muqim Arghuns in 1507. He also participated in the Battle of Panipat [“B”, on folio 364 a].

MUHAMMAD BOQIY (Eng. Muhammad Baqi) – He was one of the calligraphers of Babur’s Divan (Collection of Poems). There is no information about his life. The copy of Divan performed by him belongs to the second part of the XV^th century, which was decorated with curving and tables. Presently the copy is kept in the National Library of Paris. (see.
