MUHAMMAD DUG’LAT ((or Muhammad Hisoriy) Eng. Muhammad Daughlat) – He was one of the nobles of the province of Hisar. He served to Khusrau Shah [“B’, on folio 33b].
MUHAMMAD ZAYTUN (Eng. Muhammad Zaitun) – He was an emir from India. He was the ruler of Dulpur province. He rejected to accept Babur’s reign, but when Babur seized the fortresses of Biyana nad Gulwayar, Muhammad Zaitun also showed his loyalty and gave Dulpur by his own will. Babur returned the province as “holisa” (tax free) land to Muhammad Zaitun. There was mentioned that he participated the march over Sanbal.

MUHAMMAD ZAMON MIRZO (Eng. Muhammad Zaman Mirza) (1496, Herat-1539, Chausa) – It is a name of the grandson of Sultan Husain. He was the second son of Badiuz-zaman Mirza and son-in-law of Babur, who married to Masuma Sultan Begim. He was taken to prison in the battle for Damghan province together with his uncle Faridun Hisain Mirza, but Shaibani Khan set them free. Muhammad Zaman went to Azarbaijan. He returned to Astrabad in 1515 and seized the throne, after his father had died in Istambul, but ruled not so long. Later he seized the province Balkh with the contribution of Amir Urdu Shah in 1516. Soon the appeared the squabble between them and Muhammad Zaman executed Urdu Shah. Qavom Beg, brother of Urdu Shah sent for Babur and Babur called Muhammad Zaman to his camp when Babur came to Balkh. Muhammad Zaman rejected the invitation. Babur conquering the province of Balkh, sent Ibrahim Begchik as ruler and returned to Kabul. After Babur’s leave Muhammad Zaman attempted to conquer Balkh, but was defeated and taken to prison. He was sent to Kabul to Babur’s palace. Babur received Muhammad Zaman friendly and soon set as ruler of Balkh province. He ruled Balkh until 1526. The Shaibanids frequently attacked Balkh. So, despite Babur’s contributions and having strong army Muhammad Zaman was defeated by the Shaibanids in 1526 and went out of Balkh to India in 1527. He took part in the wars on the river Ganga. Babur set his as ruler to province of Bihar, later to Chunar province. He was killed in the battle in 1539, between Humayun and Sher Shah Suri near Chausa.
