INTRODUCTION (abstract of doctoral thesis)
The aim of the research work is to develop reasonable proposals and recommendations for improving the theory and methods of educating cadets of higher military educational institutions on the basis of spiritual and moral values.
The object of the study is the process of improving the theory and methodology of cadets of higher military educational institutions based on spiritual and moral values which was attended by 170 cadets of the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chirchik Higher Tank Command Engineering Educational Institution took part.
The scientific novelty of the study is as follows:
It has been substantiated the need to integrate information about the historical and cultural centers, monuments, museums of the country into a single educational and tourist electronic project in improving the model of spiritual and moral education of cadets;
It has been substantiated the improvement of educational technologies that develop spiritual and moral qualities, by including (detective stories that affect the human psychology, about great commanders, about the Islamic religion, military campaigns, memoirs and politics) books and video resources (domestic and foreign feature films aimed at educating moral qualities in a person about the Great Patriotic War, love for the Motherland, loyalty) in the educational and tourist electronic project, aimed at developing media culture;
It has been improved the assessment of the quality and effectiveness of the content of spiritual and educational activities, aimed at educating cadets on the basis of spiritual and moral values through the diagnosis of individual positions;
It has been substantiated the necessity of enriching the methodology of pedagogical assessment of the spiritual and moral qualities of cadets on the basis of such criteria as “self-critical approach”, “voluntary commitment”, “self-influence”.
