1.3.Linguocognitive approach to expressing positive and negative emotion
Cognitive linguistics — linguistics industry studying issues the relationship of language and consciousness, the role of language in the conceptualization of the world, in cognitive processes, as well as in the synthesis of human experience, the connection individual cognitive abilities of a person with a language and their form interaction. The object of cognitive linguistics is the language as a mechanism knowledge. Subject – human cognition as the interaction of all systems perception, production of information in the word. In the meaning of language units cognitive structures that appear in education. The task of cognitive science is « and the description / study of systems presentation of knowledge and processes of processing and processing information, and – at the same time - a study of the general principles of the organization of cognitive human abilities into a single mental mechanism, and the establishment of them interconnections and interactions» [29,8]. Therefore, cognitive linguistics is one of areas of interdisciplinary cognitive science. Various linguists give descriptions and characterization scientific scientists formed in domestic cognitive linguistics currents highlight two key approaches: Linguocognitive and linguacultural.
Linguistic culture approach involves specificity research national conceptual sphere from culture to consciousness. This approach defines the concept as the basic unit of culture, having a figurative one, conceptual and predominantly value components [30,1-8]. Representatives of a Linguocognitive approach are scientists, based on the fact that such a unit is at the core of knowledge about the world mental information as a concept that is possible « output on the concept of society «. In terms of a Linguocognitive approach to concept study developed its field model, presented in terms of core and periphery.
B. AT. Wheels divides cognitive linguistics (explores connections between word and thing ), content linguistics ( studies semantic « prototypes « - modality, denunciation, temporality and sub. ) and conceptual linguistics studying concepts proper [31,11-46].
E.S.Kubryakova shares classical cognitivism - research knowledge structures, their types mainly by logical methods - and cognitive-discursive direction, which is logical development of all modern linguistics: « every language phenomenon can be deemed adequately described and clarified only in cases where it is reviewed at the crossroads of cognition and communication «; purpose cognitive linguistics - « not only match each language form her cognitive analogue, her conceptual or cognitive structures ( thereby explaining the value or content of the form through a specific cognitive structure, opinion structure or knowledge ), but also explain the reasons for choosing or creating this “ packaging “for this content “ [ 31,16 ]. N.N. Boldyrev notes not without reason the permissibility of allocation two stages of the development of cognitivism: “early is logical, or objectivist, and modern - experimental, based on experience”[30,20 ]. From another point of view, it is permissible to distinguish the following areas in cognitive linguistics established to date ( we will distinguish key representatives of these areas ): cultural – concept research as elements of culture, based on data from various sciences. Such studies are usually interdisciplinary and not exclusively linguistic, however, can be carried out by linguists ( this is precisely this and makes it possible to consider this direction within the framework of cognitive linguistics ); language in this case acts as only one of sources of knowledge about concepts ( for example, when describing a concept data on the etymology of the word defining a specific concept ); linguacultural – study called language units of concepts as elements of national linguacultural in relation to them with national values and cultural features: direction “from language to culture”;
•logical – concept analysis by logical methods outside direct dependence on their language form;
• semantic-cognitive – lexical and grammatical semantics of the language as a means of access to content ,concepts, modeling tools from the semantics of the language to the conceptual framework;
• philosophical and semiotic – learns cognitive foundations acquaintances;
All these areas are considered to be sufficiently formed in modern linguistics, each of them has its own methodological principles, ( all of them can be combined at least on the basis of the theoretical concept of the concept as a unit of consciousness ) and each of they have their own adherents among linguists-cognit ologists, they represented by well-known scientific schools. In addition, it is worth noting a significant amount of work, combining the actual identification of concepts. Lexical value — correlation of the sound shell of a word with relevant objects or phenomena of objective reality.
The linguo-cognitive approach to positive and negative emotion views emotions as being influenced by both language and cognition. This means that our emotions are shaped by the language we use to describe them and the cognitive processes that we engage in when we experience them. Here are some ways that the linguo-cognitive approach can be applied to positive and negative emotion:
