14 § 1.3. Importance of optimizing interaction to promote learning Interaction plays a crucial role in the learning process of students, and teachers must ensure that they use effective techniques to incite interaction in the classroom. Inciting interaction involves creating an atmosphere where students feel free to participate, share their thoughts and ideas, and ask questions. Teachers can use different strategies to incite interaction, including but not limited to the use of technology, group work, and questioning techniques. Open-ended questions are questions that require more than a simple yes or no answer, and they encourage students to think deeply about a particular topic.
