part of the linguistic sign, which F. de Saussure called the
signified, was traditionally defined in Russian-language
studies as a “concept”. This term was used in works on
linguistics until the 70s of the twentieth century, but in some
works the term "concept" was also used.
Recently, interest in the science of concepts has
increased. Conceptology is a new, developing science, so there
are many questions around the subjects of its study, goals, as
well as the concepts with which it correlates, in particular,
about the concept. It can be considered as a separate discipline
- linguoconceptology, which has its roots in linguoculturology,
as well as a part of cognitive linguistics.
Scientists-linguists V.I. Karasik and I.A. Sternin
define conceptology as "the science of concepts, their content
and relations of concepts within the conceptosphere" and
classify it as a "section of interdisciplinary cognitive
science"[4].
Currently, within the framework of conceptology,
linguistic conceptology is distinguished - a science whose
main goal is to describe concepts by linguistic means. “…an
analysis of the content of concepts through language data
provides a fairly rich and most reliable and verifiable material
for describing concepts” [4].
It is necessary to consider different approaches to the
concept phenomenon. Since the system of various concepts
and concepts forms a picture of the world (worldview,
worldview, worldview), which reflects a person’s
understanding of this reality, its special conceptual “model”,
on the basis of which a person thinks the world, other main
