CONCEPTOLOGY AS A BRANCH OF COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS AND ITS DEVELOPMENT 
Abstract 
Linguoculturology, which considers language as the cultural code of a nation, is always at the "intersection point" of the interests 
of the scientific community. Also, the problem of the concept is considered in the framework of cultural studies, where it is 
defined as a basic concept that reflects the mentality of a generalized native speaker. However, there is no generally accepted 
understanding of the essence of the concept and a single approach to the definition of this concept. The article also covers the 
study of the theoretical aspects of the problem of conceptualization, language and culture, language and thinking.

КОНЦЕПТОЛОГИЯ КАК РАЗДЕЛ КОГНИТИВНОЙ ЛИНГВИСТИКЫ И ЕЕ РАЗВИТИЕ 
Аннотация 
Известно, что лингвокультурология, рассматривающая язык как культурный код нации, всегда находится в «точке 
пересечения» интересов научного сообщества. Также проблема концепта рассматривается в рамках культурологии, где 
он определяется как базовый концепт, отражающий менталитет обобщенного носителя языка. Однако общепринятого 
понимания сущности понятия и единого подхода к определению этого понятия не существует. Статья также охватывает 
исследование теоретических аспектов проблемы концептуализации, языка и культуры, языка и мышления.
