LET + HIM / HER / THEM + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M
LET + HIM / HER / THEM + NOT + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M

ADDITION TO REMARK
A positive addition to a positive remark is formed in two ways:
S + AUXILIARY VERB + TOO / ALSO
SO + AUXILIARY + S
e.g. I can cook well. So can I / I can also.
He speaks very rudely. So do you / You do also.
We will travel to Dubai next year. So will we / We will also.

A negative addition to a negative sentence is formed in the following two ways:

S + NEGATIVE AUXILIARY VERB + EITHER
NEITHER / NOR + AUXILIARY VERB + S
e.g. I don’t understand last topic. I don’t either / Neither do I.
I don’t have to come on time. We don’t either / Neither do we.
You must not waste this month. We mustn’t either / Neither must we.

In order to make a negative addition to a positive remark we use the following structure:

BUT + S + NEGATIVE AUXILIARY VERB
e.g. All the students came to the lesson. But Husan didn’t.
Every student has understood the rule. But Ashurali hasn’t.

In order to make a positive addition to a negative remark we use the following structure:

BUT + S + AUXILIARY
e.g. My parents don’t like watching football. But I do.
All people don’t like harming animals. But my little brother does.

If a remark has words like nobody / nothing / nowhere / no one / nor / none / hardly / hardly ever / barely / rarely / scarcely / rarely and other limiting words the remark is considered to be negative.

e.g. I ate nothing for breakfast. We didn’t either. Neither did we.
Ashurali wakes up hardly at 10. Neither Husan does. Husan doesn’t either.
They have no patience. Neither do you. You don’t either.
