Creative Self-Expression 
The path for intelligent human beings is to master the art of  c o n -
scious, creative self-expression. This is far more important than acquir-
ing money and possessions,  w h i c h can never compensate for a lack of 
conscious growth. Your creativity is the very mechanism by which you'll 
achieve everything  y o u could possibly want, including financial abun-
dance, well-developed talents, fulfilling relationships, and meaningful 
contributions.  W h e n  y o u commit to creatively sharing yourself with the 
world, it's much easier to meet your needs and satisfy your desires. 
Self-expression requires both a medium  a n d a message. Your 
medium is the collection of creative outlets  y o u use. For example, I

express myself creatively through writing, blogging, and speaking, 
so those are my media. Your message is the most powerful truth  y o u 
wish to share. My message is to share conscious growth with others, 
and that includes the content you're reading in this book as well as 
w h a t you'll find on my Website. 
By embracing the principles of truth, love, and power,  y o u  a c -
complish  t w o things. First,  y o u tune in to your primary message. You 
discover what's most important to  y o u , and your connectedness mo-
tivates  y o u to share it for the benefit of all.  S e c o n d ,  y o u develop the 
power necessary to cultivate a medium that suits your message. You 
invest the effort required to learn  h o w to write, speak, act,  d a n c e , 
build, and so  o n . You do whatever it takes to create the outlets  y o u 
need to share your message with the  w o r l d . 
W h e n we creatively express ourselves,  w e ' r e honestly sharing 
what's most important to us. This act of sharing connects us with oth-
ers and offers  t h e m a glimpse of truth.  W h e n we enjoy the authentic 
result of someone else's creativity, such as a  p o e m or painting, we can 
perceive the principles of truth, love, and  p o w e r radiating from it. 
W h o are  y o u ?  W h a t  d o  y o u  w a n t  t o share with the world?  W h a t 
elements of truth, love, and power can  y o u contribute through your 
o w n acts of creative self-expression? Are  y o u here to teach us to be 
more nurturing, compassionate, organized, generous, productive, 
honest, joyful, creative, or loving?  W h a t ' s the most intelligent  w a y for 
y o u to express those qualities? Will  y o u feed us, clothe us, teach us, 
motivate us, entertain us, support us, advance us, or lead us? You're 
the authority here.  W h a t ' s your decision? 
Growth 
A fascinating quality of intelligence is that it seeks its  o w n im-
provement. Perhaps the smartest choice we can make is to attempt to 
b e c o m e smarter, and growth is the mechanism through  w h i c h this is 
achieved. It is intelligent to grow. 
By improving your alignment with truth,  y o u gain access to  n e w 
truths. By improving your alignment with love,  y o u increase your

connectedness.  A n d by improving your alignment with power,  y o u 
b e c o m e more powerful. Since intelligence is the combination of truth, 
love,  a n d power,  y o u can also see that as  y o u increase your alignment 
with these three principles,  y o u effectively  b e c o m e more intelligent. 
This is precisely  h o w  y o u  g r o w as a  h u m a n being. 
G r o w t h is rarely linear, so  y o u can expect plenty of diversions and 
setbacks along the way. But as long as  y o u strive to increase your 
alignment with these principles,  y o u will certainly grow as a result. 
You  w o n ' t be the same person tomorrow that  y o u are today. 
W h e n I  w a s 19 years old, I decided to make personal growth the 
guiding force of my life. At the time, I had no idea  w h e r e it  w o u l d 
lead. Initially, it  w a s just a  w a y to escape the hopeless situation I  w a s 
in. I realized that no pain  w a s permanent and that given  e n o u g h time, 
I could eventually  g r o w out of any problematic situation. I didn't 
fathom the principles of truth, love, and  p o w e r until  m a n y years later, 
but focusing on  g r o w t h alone  w a s  e n o u g h to turn my life around. 
Three years after being arrested for grand theft, I graduated college 
with  t w o degrees in only three semesters by taking triple the normal 
course load. A few months later, I was launching my  o w n business with 
my girlfriend,  w h o later became my wife. I still had many difficult les-
sons ahead, but I finally became the driving authority of my  o w n life 
instead of being a slave to unconscious compulsion and addiction. A 
commitment to growth was the solution to all of my worst problems. 
Working on your personal growth may seem like a completely 
selfish undertaking, but in fact it's the most selfless thing  y o u can pos-
sibly  d o . As  y o u improve your alignment with truth, love, and power, 
y o u increase your capacity to serve others.  T h e more intelligent  y o u 
b e c o m e , the more  g o o d  y o u can  d o . If  y o u haven't already discov-
ered this, you'll eventually realize that  w h e n  y o u improve yourself, 
y o u inspire others to do the same. Those people then inspire even 
more people, and your positive ripples of growth ultimately impact 
everyone. As  y o u improve yourself,  y o u improve all of us. As the cells 
improve, the  w h o l e body improves. 
If  y o u forget everything else from this book and remember only 
one piece of advice, it is simply this: The most intelligent thing you can
