5.8 Relation Between Project Parties
Any large or small project depends on human resources, which are the
main reasons for the success of any project or failure.
In every phase
of the project, there are teams that work either in parallel or in series.
Different teams can work at the same time, teams can receive work
from
another team, and every team has its own organization and may
have specific goals. The project manager is responsible for coordinat-
ing the relationships between all task forces
and agencies that operate
in the project.
The below figure shows the results of no relationships between the teams
in the project. Assume you want to build a hammock in your backyard.
This project is done in a number of stages,
as shown in the figure, but in
that case there is no connection or correlation between the teams working
on the project.
In
the stage of initial studies, the FEED engineering action team is in
charge of studies. The initial proposal of the idea and the design team
change it by hand. Then, the contractor will
modify the idea once again
according to its requirements or his or her point of view and will finally
deliver the product to you.
