because when there are more educational opportunities in the country, people can be more 
educated and skillful, thereby developing every sector as experts. For instance, while

qualified doctors save more lives, well-educated politicians can find better ways of solving 
social and national problems like poverty.
It also seems that proper education system can 
reduce crime rate and delinquency level.
If people, in particular youngsters, are committing 
criminal activities without being aware of the serious repercussions, they can be deterred 
from breaking the law once they are informed enough through better education. 
 
Crime rate is increasing in many countries. What are the reasons and solutions? 
In recent times, crime rate has been progressively rising in many socities, 
especially in third-
world countries
. 
While there are some obvious reasons behind this, I believe the government 
can provide effective ways to deal with it. 
There are several reasons for the increased crime rates in many societies
, one of which is 
linked to soft punishments.
This means that in many countries, particularly in Asia, strict 
regulations like death penalty do not exist. 
As a result, their short-term sentences and 
negligible penalties cannot serve as a deterrent for offenders, resulting in more criminal 
activities.
Not only that, many communities also suffer from abject poverty and 
unemployment problems. 
This, in turn, may cause their citizens to break the law to make 
money when it is difficult to earn it legally.
