The state educational standards were developed on the basis of the following principles:
compliance of the state educational standards with the requirements of the state and society and the needs of
individuals;
relevance of the curricular content to the social and economical development of the society, science and
technology;
continuity of the secondary education with other types and stages of education;consistency of the educational
content;
humanity of the content of secondary education;
unity and integrity of the content of education in all the regions of the country;
selection of the content, forms, tools and techniques of secondary education based on innovative technologies;
consistency of the traditional views established in pedagogical thinking with the modern requirements defined
in the Laws “On education” and “National program for training personnel”;
use of the experience of advanced democratic states in determining the norms in the sphere of education, taking
into account the national peculiarities.
