of the dissertation is included in the plan of research work of the University of 
World Economy and Diplomacy and is carried out within the framework of 
priority areas of scientific research on improving and codifying the investment 
legislation of Uzbekistan, theoretical research on the achievements of legislative 
practice and investment law of developed countries.

The aim of the study is to improve legislation in the field of civil regulation 
of investment contracts, develop scientific and practical proposals and 
recommendations for improving effective legal regulation of investment activities 
and law enforcement in the Republic of Uzbekistan. 
Tasks of research work. To achieve the goals of the research work, the 
following tasks were set: 
to reveal the concept of investment activity and issues of legal regulation of 
this activity; 
description of the concept of an investment contract, the definition of types 
and elements of an investment contract; 
analysis of contractual and legal regulation of investment activity in foreign 
countries; 
to determine the essence of the investment agreement with the government 
and the specifics of concluding such agreements; 
study of the legal nature of the contract for the organization of investment 
activities; 
analysis of legal aspects of investment activities based on smart contracts; 
characteristics important features of investment activity in the context of a 
pandemic; 
to identify specific aspects and prospects of modern investment legislation 
and practice in our country; 
development of proposals and recommendations on the problems of regulation 
and improvement of investment contracts in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
