Reporting
All incidents with the company vehicle must be reported to your supervisor immediately. Authorized drivers shall report all accidents, incidents, vehicle damage, and any form of property damage to the Fleet Services Coordinator within 24 hours. If the police make a report of the incident, authorized drivers shall obtain a copy and forward to their supervisor as soon after the incident as possible. Authorized drivers must fully complete the “RbA of the Carolinas Company Motor Vehicle Accident Report” within 24 hours unless physically impaired and then as soon as possible. Appendix A Major Violations Leaving the scene of an accident. DUI or DWI. Reckless driving. Felony conviction. Racing or drag racing. Excessive speed equal to or greater than 25 miles above the posted limits. Eluding police. Passing a stopped school or church bus. Allowing a DUI/DWI, unlicensed, or unauthorized person to drive. Driving on a suspended, revoked, or fraudulent license. Failure to report an accident. Refusing a substance test. Open container violation. Manslaughter. Any violation arising in connection with a fatality. Minor Violations Speeding 11-25 miles above the posted speed limit. Violation of traffic control device. Failure to yield Following too closely. At fault accident not involving a major violation. Note: Any violations that are not easily categorized into the above lists will be considered on a case-by-case basis and be the decision of RbA of the Carolinas will be final. Download 342 Kb.
