145 information: graphics, text, video, photographs, animation, sound effects, and sound accompaniment. The use of multimedia technologies in teaching implements two main methods of pedagogical activity: active and passive principles of student-computer interaction. Passive multimedia products are developed to manage the process of presenting information: lectures, presentations, workshops. Active - these are interactive multimedia tools that involve the active role of the student. The development of information technology has created more opportunities for modern education. New methods of teaching and learning have begun to emerge around the world, the most important of which is e-learning, which is facilitating the transition from teacher-centered learning to learner- centered learning. Multimedia learning tools that combine text, graphics, sound and video have a different structure. They direct the train of thought of the listener or viewer not from one abstract sign to another, but create models of recognition addressed to the sensual side of the subject. It can be assumed that multimedia teaching aids not only make it possible to implement the principle of visibility at a higher artistic and aesthetic level, providing a variety of expressive means for displaying educational information, but also create conditions for the formation of a new type of thinking that differs from that formed on based on printed information. Multimedia teaching aids are teaching aids that have been created on the basis of multimedia technologies, allowing you to effectively organize the educational process in an interactive mode. Multimedia (from Latin multum - a lot and English, media - means) - a system of modern technical means that allows you to work with textual information, graphic images, sound (speech, music, effects), animated computer graphics (drawn films, three-dimensional graphics) in a single complex; one of the most rapidly developing and promising areas, especially in the field of education. Multimedia tools have the strongest impact on students. They enrich the learning process; make learning more effective by involving most of the student's sensory components in the process of perceiving educational information. They have also become an objective reality of our time, so foreign language teachers actively use various multimedia tools. Multimedia means include audio programs, videos, presentations, Internet resources, electronic textbooks. All these means depend on the computer, with the help of which significant functions are carried out in teaching and learning a foreign language. Multimedia technologies have firmly entered the educational process and are today an integral part of the modern lesson. A lesson built on the basis of multimedia programs becomes unusual, rich and effective [1]. Multimedia technologies provide an opportunity to combine logical and figurative ways of mastering information, which improves the educational process. The advantage is also to increase the motivation of students by visualizing complex schemes, internal processes and phenomena through three-dimensional computer animation, using video clips and extensive illustrative material [Up to 2014: 143]. The organization of classroom lessons using multimedia technologies makes it possible to save time, thereby intensifying the presentation of educational material, through the use of simple and affordable means. During the lessons, students can create visualized colorful learning and playing environments, which greatly enhances the perception of the subject being studied. The ability to study at a convenient time, a convenient place and a convenient pace allows the teacher to create homework, tests or test papers and track their successful completion by each student. Since multimedia technologies do not require constant financial costs for printing material for classes, they are economical and reduce the cost of organizing the educational process. The presence of links and hyperlinks with additional literature in electronic libraries or educational Internet resources helps to expand the content of the subject and update the educational material in a timely manner. Multimedia computer technologies give the teacher the opportunity to combine a variety of tools that help a deeper and more conscious assimilation of the topic covered, saves lesson time, and saturates it with information. The widespread use of the Internet has led to the emergence of new communication channels and made information more accessible. Indeed, the revolutionary direction of information and communication technologies stems from the convergence of two types of rapidly developing |
