Abstract. Samples of classical literature play an important role in today's
education system. The main reason for this is to introduce students to the
heritage of their ancestors and to prepare a generation accordingly. One of our
world-renowned scholars in literature, art, science and politics is Muhammad
Reza Ogahi. The unique works of this great poet, especially his ghazals on socio-
political, philosophical-didactic and romantic themes, have become an
invaluable gem, spiritual-enlightenment, moral-aesthetic property of mankind for
centuries.
Key words: poet, historian, translator, work, poems, literature.
The literary environment of Khorezm is an integral part of the cultural
heritage of our people. Such a literary and creative environment has nurtured and
nurtured dozens of talented people. One of them was Muhammad Riza Ogahi
(1809-1874), who was a famous poet, historian and translator of his time, a
statesman. The study of his poetic, translational, and historical activities and the
dissemination of his works to the public, the discovery, analysis, and
interpretation of their appeal, artistic aspects, is a requirement of the time, which
at the same time determines the relevance of our graduate work. In our classical

literature, which has a thousand-year history, the issue of art has always been in
the center of attention of the people of poetry [1]. When it comes to this or that
artist, the focus is not on what he or she describes, but on how he or she describes
it.
The work of Muhammad Rizo Ogahi is widely studied in Uzbek literature.
His works have been republished. In particular, in 1958-1960 he published a
collection of "Selected Works", in 1960 "Tawiz ul-oshiqin", in 1970 a 6-volume
collection of "Works" with samples of poems, historical and translated works.
During the years of independence, Ogahi's historical works "Zubdat ut-tavorix"
("Cream of history") were published.
Information about Ogahi can be found in the works of Bayani, Kamil
Khorezmi, Feruz, and in several commentaries. Several generations living in the
Khiva region glorify Ogahi as a perfect teacher. One of the factors that contribute
to the development of a person, and most importantly, to the enrichment of his
spiritual world, is fiction. In fact, Ogahi was one of the great figures who made a
worthy contribution to the development of our Uzbek national literature and
raised it to the level of art in the world has become an educational, moral and
aesthetic property. The study of the unique masterpieces of such a word artist,
especially the transmission of the image of Ogahi to students in many respects to
the scientific and theoretical knowledge of the teacher, the art of teaching, more
precisely, the poet's poems, the scope of his subject and the lyrical heroes
reflected in them, their spiritual experiences depending on. In this regard,
teachers of secondary schools and academic lyceums, having a textbook on
literature, do not have the literary-critical and methodological guidelines for the
study, analysis and dissemination of Ogahi's works [5].
Agahi is more popular among the people as a lyrical poet:
Tonight my mahvashim has been fighting for a month
Not all the astronauts opened their eyes.
A spark of the sun passed by the creature,
It is not dawn, it is on fire.

It's cold on my face,
It is a river of wrath, or a river of wrath.
If I don't make money at the Sochi trade, I won't wake up in the
morning -
How many Alexander has gone astray in this darkness.
Agahi "Riyaz ud-davla" ("Gardens of the Sultanate"), "Zubdat ut-tavorix"
("Cream of History"), "Jame’ul-waqoti sultani" ("Summarizing the events of the
sultanate"), "Gulshani davlat" ("State gulshani")), "Shahidi Iqbol" ("Witness of
Iqbol") and other historical works reflect the history, cultural and social life of
the Uzbek, Turkmen, Karakalpak, Kazakh peoples living in Khorezm, the
relationship of the Khiva Khanate with other khanates and other historical events.

87
Streets, schools, Khorezm regional musical-drama and comedy theater, park
and other institutions in Uzbekistan are named after Ogahi. The Ogahi Garden
was established in the village of Qiyot, and the house-museum of the poet was
opened; a statue of Ogahi is erected in front of the museum.
Teaching literature is drastically different from teaching other subjects.
Literary education considers it natural for each student to have a different artistic
perception, to feel the work, to discover it, and to come to different solutions and
conclusions, rather than a single conclusion. Although students learn to read a
single work, they have different emotional impressions, strengths, and draw
colorful conclusions from it. Through artistic analysis, the reader delves deeper
into the work, deeply understands the elements that make up its essence, artistic
and aesthetic thinking, the magic and charm of words, and reaches the level of a
true reader [6].
Speaking of Agahi’s creative legacy and his place in classical literature, the
poet’s poetry is at the center of the line of thought. Because the main goal of the
school literature program is not to study the historical, translated, poetic works
that make up the general heritage of Ogahi, but mainly to study and master the
poetic heritage and some of its works. In our opinion, it would be appropriate to
include in the school literature program the teaching of examples from the
historical, translated works of the poet. As the Methodist scholar V. Kadyrov
said, "As the information is given one after the other, the knowledge, skills and
abilities formed through one work will be strengthened in the following
examples. As a result, information is collected and integrated knowledge, skills
acquired and skills are formed; the feelings felt gradually become perceptions. It
is this holistic knowledge, the formed skills that unite in the pupil and give rise to
the experience of understanding classical literature" [3, 71].
