nazorat (ta’lim oluvchining bilim, ko’nikma va malakalari darajasini aniqlash, o’lchash va baholash jarayoni), xususan tekshirish (bilim darajasini aniqlash; joriy baholash; oraliq baholash; yakuniy baholash);
hisobga olish (ta’limning muayyan davrida talabalar va o’qituvchi faoliyatini umumlashtirish, xulosalash) va uning usullari (og’zaki, yozma, test hamda amaliy topshiriqlarni bajarish).
