Monograph -ESP.B.Kholiyorov

A method is a plan for presenting the language material to be learned based
on the learning approach. In order to turn the approach into a method, it is
necessary to realize the purpose of teaching, how the content is selected and
organized, the types of tasks to be performed, the role of students, and the role of
teachers.

1. Grammatical translation and audio-linguistic method are examples of
structural methods.
2. Examples of functional methods include oral approach / situational
language teaching.
3. Examples of interactive methods include direct method, serial method,
communicative language teaching, silent method, Suggestopedia(Suggestopedia),
natural approach, full physical activity, reading and story and dogmatic language
teaching skills.
A technique (or strategy) is a very specific strategy or little trick designed
to achieve a specific goal. These come from a management style and a less direct
approach.
Direct method (education). Sometimes called the natural method and often
used in foreign language teaching, the direct teaching method rejects the use of the
students' mother tongue and uses only the target language. It was established in
Germany and France around 1900 and contrasted with the grammar translation
method and other traditional approaches, as well as C.J. Dodson's bilingual
method. This document was adopted in the 1970s by major international language
schools, such as Berlitz and Inlingua, and by many language departments of the
Foreign Service Institute of the US Department of State.

It is known that one of the main goals of every teacher is to teach students to
think in the language they are learning and to be able to say what they want to say
directly in a foreign language without having to translate it in their mind. In other
words, it is called speech productivity. We believe that using the direct method will
help the teacher to develop these skills in his students.
The direct method is a language teaching method that establishes a direct or
indirect connection between experience and expression, between an English word,
phrase or idiom and its meaning, through demonstration, dramatization, without
the use of the native language.
For example, the following exercises. Read and work on the exercises on the
text.

and the precision with which the Earth's
size and shape is to be defined. While
the Sphere is a close approximation of
the true figure of the Earth and
satisfactory for many
purposes,Geodesistshave developed a
number of models to represent a closer
approximation to the shape of the Earth.
The simplest model for the shape
of the entire
Earth
is a
Sphere. The

Earth's Radius is the Distance from Earth's center to its surface, about 6,371
kilometers (3,959 mi). While "radius" normally is a characteristic of perfect
spheres, the Earth deviates from a perfect sphere by only a third of a percent
sufficiently close to treat it as a sphere in many contexts and justifying the term
"the radius of the Earth".
The Earth is only approximately spherical, so no single value serves as its
natural radius. Distances from points on the surface to the center range from
6,353 km to 6,384 km (3,947 – 3,968 mi). Several different ways of modeling the
Earth as a sphere each yield a mean radius of 6,371 kilometers (3,959 mi).
Regardless of the model, any radius falls between the polar minimum of about
6,357 km and the equatorial maximum of about 6,378 km (3,950 – 3,963 mi). The
difference 21 kilometers (13
mi) correspond to the polar radius being
approximately 0.3% shorter than the equator radius.
