Grammar translation 20 15 20 Direct method - - - Communicative language teaching 60 60 50 Audio-lingual method 20 25 30 Based on interviews with professional experts, questions and answers, it was determined that the needs of agricultural personnel for the English language are as follows: enter into the primary communication about the field, provide full information about the job position; to read and understand the instructions of imported equipment, technical equipment, software, agricultural machinery and use them; read and understand technical safety rules instructions and explain them to subordinates; conducting negotiations with foreign partners, conducting audio-video dialogues, presentations; continuing master's and doctoral studies in higher education institutions; recording in industry-specific English lectures; writing formal and informal letters in English to educational institutions, partners, foreign companies and laboratories in other countries; The advantages of participating in meetings, conferences and webinars on industry-related topics and being able to hold a conversation were identified. 185 students and 10 professors-teachers from the 1st-2nd stage of "Technology of agricultural products storage and preliminary processing" department of the Faculty of Technology of Karshi engineering-economics institute, 140 students from the 1st-2nd stage of the soil science department of Gulistan State University and 10 professors-teachers, 155 students and 10 professors-teachers from the 1st-2nd stage of agricultural mechanization of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, a total of 30 professors-teachers and 480 students were involved in experimental work. 480 students, 30 professors and teachers were met and written and oral interviews were held during the experimental work. Researches were organized on the basis of the methodology of conducting experimental tests. 80 The results of the test conducted at the beginning and at the end of the first and second stages of the experimental test among the students of the "Technology of storage and preliminary processing of agricultural products" course of the Faculty of Technology of the Karshi engineering-economics institute were analyzed in the 1-2 stages. At the beginning of the experiment, the results of 95 students in experimental groups and 90 students in control groups were analyzed by the method of selection from groups based on the criterion of closeness of knowledge levels.
