Course paper theme: problematic issues of translation of grammatical methadological tools

Expressions and Idioms [25,7]. These peculiarities of language lead to challenges and problems with translation. Idioms, for instance, are phrases that describe something by utilizing a certain set of words that are exclusively appropriate for that group. Idioms cannot be translated literally, therefore machine translation technologies cannot handle them. The most recent prediction is that idioms will never be accurately translated by machine translation software. Idioms should not be used when trying to localize product features into other languages since they can convey messages that are misunderstood or even offensive to other cultures.
Compound Words [25,8].. Compound words frequently lead to issues when a language is translated. This is due to the fact that when two words are combined to create a new term, the meaning of the original two words may not coincide with the meaning of the compound word. There are three distinct groups to take into account. A compound term firstly means what each individual word means. An airport, a seaside, or a pedestrian crossing are a few examples. Only 50% of the two words' literal meanings are covered by group 2. For instance, the compound term "bookworm" indicates someone who likes books when the words book and worm are combined rather than when they are separated. This can make it difficult for a translator to locate an equivalent in another language such that the translation conveys the same meaning, which is particularly problematic for machine translation software. Compound words in Group 3 have meanings that aren't directly connected to the meanings of the constituent words. The last day to receive or deliver anything, for instance, is referred to as the "deadline" in English. The line or die have no bearing on it. The "butterfly" is neither a fly nor a butter, either. Therefore, compound words are unquestionably one of the most prevalent translation issues.
The use of 2 Word Verbs [25,9].. Sometimes the meaning of a preposition and a verb combined is quite different from the meaning of the terms alone. Phrasal verbs are what we refer to as these, and examples include fill out, look up, break down, shut up, break in, and bring up. This presents difficulties and difficulties in translating for the translator.
