Language-oriented techniques were superseded by approaches based on the target language in an environment of increased interest. In this novel method, the total text is valued above the individual words. Instead of conveying the main meaning of the text in the source language to the intended audience, the purpose of the translation is to convey the words. In the target language approach, the learner represents the target culture, and it is anticipated that the text will be influenced by the source culture just as much as the reader. Various facets of the translation process are currently the subject of investigation. Many eminent experts in the subject agree that translation is a very difficult process and stress the importance of having communicative and pragmatic orientations. The development of translation science has a lengthy human history. The translation was created for a number of reasons, including the need for communication in multilingual communities. It first manifested as an oral translation before evolving into writing form. The first examples of translations are written agreements between groups. Religious texts later gained significance. Communication across communities steadily improved over the course of history, and translation has developed into a science. The science of translation is built on a lengthy historical process, thus there are many things to take into account while defining the field. The act of translating a text from one language to another is known as translation. Translation science is the study of the process of translation and all of its intricacies. Several translation theories have been developed since translation became a science. However, in order to achieve a modern comprehension of the translation theories need be fully taken into account. According to Aksoy [ 11,12], the combination of translation theory and practice makes sense when directly tied to the human phenomena, which is and is considered as an intrinsic component of translation theory. Understanding what has been done and what it has given to communities entails looking for solutions to questions about emergent, cultural interactions between individuals, cultures, and communities. Science translation is not just a mechanical method of transmission; it is also a process of creative and cultural transmission. "What should a good translation be?" is a question that applies to this field just as it does to any other. A variety of viewpoints were expressed in an effort to find a solution to the problem. These historical perspectives and scientific quality approaches either took time to develop or are still in the process of doing so. Download 126.74 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
