I. Organization moment:
A) Greeting:
Good morning, dear pupils. How are you? Are you ready for the lesson?
B) Duty’s report: The teacher asks the duty of the class and absent pupils.
C) Warm-up: Listen and sing.
Objective: to sing the song “Good morning”
II. Revision of the learnt materials:
Teacher and pupils repeat all the materials together then teacher asks the words and pupils should say them.
III. Explaining the new theme:
Activity 1 Sing the song. 10 min
Objectives: to warm up by singing the song; to check homework
STEP 1: Teacher plays the DVD and asks the pupils to listen to the song and sing it.
STEP 2: Checking homework. Teacher writes on the board: What do you do in ...? And asks the pupils to make questions. e.g. What do you do in the kitchen? What do you do in the living room? What do you do in the gym?
Teacher asks the pupils to mingle and asks the questions to each other. Teacher says the pupils must answer the questions using their sentences from the homework.
Activity 2a Match the pictures and words. 5 min
Objectives: to revise vocabulary related to jobs; to introduce new words
Teacher asks the pupils to match the pictures and words.

Activity 2b Listen and repeat. 5 min
Objective: to develop pronunciation skills
