Gender features of phraseological concept “woman” in english and uzbek languages

Comparative analysis of the concept «woman» in English and Uzbek proverbs

• Gender analysis of phraseological units in Uzbek and English revealed that female negative characteristics outweighed positive ones in both languages. We believe that the dominance of the negative over the positive in language has to do with the exclusion of reality by the person, not the gender factor. e. Negativity is considered an unacceptable norm in society.
