Step 5. Narrow down your extracurricular

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior , you should hopefully already have an idea of the kinds of activities that you want to focus on. Make a list of the top five activities that interest you . If you have the time to try out all five, go for it. This will give you a bit of time to experiment and see what's the most of interest. If you do not have time, try to narrow down your top five to three activities.

Step 6. Increase your impact in a few activities

Remember to not spread yourself too thin, especially if you are above freshman year. It is more important to spend significant time in each activity than it is to have a long list of activities. Choose activities that will allow you to make a meaningful impact, either in your own development, or in the community.
At College Vine, the teachers have divided extracurricular activities into 4 tires.7
Tire 1
Rare activities that show exceptional achievement or leadership. They include national awards or other prestigious achievements.

Tire 2
A little more common than Tire 1, but these activities still showcase high levels of achievement and leadership. They include leadership positions for well-known clus and organizations, winning regional competitions, or sport/ music distinctions.

Tire 3
Lack the distinction of Tier 1 and 2, but still highlight students' interests. They include minor leadership positions for well-known clubs and organizations and smaller athletic/Musicals distinction.

Tire 4
Most common and most often seen by admissions committees. They include general club/ sports/ musical membership and general volunteering.

2.2. The implementation of extracurriular activities

Different labels have been used to explain organized activities for students. They habitually denote the who ( school-age, children, adults, youth), where ( school-based, community-based), what ( activities, programs, organizations), and when ( after-school, extracurricular, summer, nonalcoholic, out-of school) elements of participation. These descriptors are meaningful and do clarify the phenomenon of interests. Accordingly, we utilize the term organized activities to refer to these variation collectivelyThe word orginized is also used to make clear that so-called unstructured activities ( e.g. watching television, listening to music, "hanging out with peers", and cruising in cars) and other forms of passive leisure ( eating, resting and personal care ) are not the focus of the volume, expect as a backdrop of what else youth might be doing during their after-school hours.
Extracurricular activities require a very mature plane before implemented at school. Planning extracurricular activities in(SMP,2014) published by the directorate of junior high school high school development in 2014, includes planning goals, determining the types of extracurricular activities as needed, planning a supervisor as well as his duty for each extracurricular activity, planning the order, planning the schedule and infrastructure to be used in the activity, and planning the budget needed for the implementation of activities. Furthermore, there is almost no special assignment related to the person in charge of extracurricular program activities (coach of each type of extracurriculars activity). Thus they only learn on to teacher who accidentally available at that time. Lastly, there is no certainly related to the room used for the activities.
