MEHTAR SULAYMON TOG’I (Eng. Mount of Mehtar Sulaiman) – Name of the mountain chain in the westward of river Sind (present day in the territory of Pakistan Islam Republic). “There stood a mount called “Kuhi Mehtar Sulaiman”, the mount was just in the middle between Dasht and Duki, after crossing there is strait way” [“B”, on folio 150 a].

MIYONKO’L (Eng. Mian Kul) – It is a place name. located in the south of Samarkand, on an island formed by the split and joining of the Zaraf-Shan River (Kohak River). With its prosperity and abundance famous When Babur captured Samarkand (1500 y.)

MILVAT (Eng. Milwat) – It is a name of the fortress on the bank of river Biakh in Punjab. Babur rested in the fort Miwat after he seized the province in 1526. Babur sent several rare books to Humayun and Kamran from the library of Ghaza-Khan. The duty of defending the fort was laid to Mahammad-ali Jang-jang. [“B”, on folio. 260 a].

MILVOH (Eng. Milwakh) – It is a Persian word for “special bird for bait in hunting”. It was commonly used to hunt for flock of birds. “Establishing handmade lakes covered with nets and using lots of bait they hunt various birds” [“B”, on folio. 143 a].

MILTIQ (Eng. Gun, Riffle) – It is a a military weapon, gun or riffle. The word was mentioned in Kazan copy of Baburname “And Hasan-Khan was killed with a riffle” [“B”, p.385 b]. Existence and usage of riffles and muskets in Babur’s army was accepted by all historians. (Broakgauz-Efran)
