MUBOLAG’A (Eng. Hyperbole) – It is a literary term of Arabic origin. It expresses to depict or show things by exceeding exaggeration of their certain feature. The skillfully used hyperbole can be a good poetic device. The hyperbole is characterized by escaping from the reality, extreme and weirdness. The hyperbole in Oriental lyrical poetry is classified into types as: tablig’, ig’roq, g’uluv and others. In “tablig’” the overstatement feature or sign can suit reality. “Ig’roq” expresses exaggeration does not exist in real life though it can be imagined and understand by mind. “G’uluv” type of the hyperbole is unbelievable, illogical or absurd in content. There were used wide range of hyperboles in Babur’s poetry.

MUBORAKXON JILVANIY (Eng. Mubarak Khan Jilwani) – one of the soldiers of Shaikh Bayazid and Biban. He was taken to prison by Baqi Shighavul in the battle near Awad. Babur noted that Mubarak Khan Jilwani was courageous soldier despite that he served to his enemies [“B”, on folio 379 b].

MUBORAKSHOH (Eng. Mubarak shah) – chief commander of the fortress Qal’a-i-Zafar. He revolted against Mahmud Ibn Muhammad Mahdumi and killed all the nobles and Mahmud, driving away the Auzbeks from the fortress. His father was one of the emirs of Badakhshan. After defeating Mahmud who was sent to Shaftiwar from Qunduz by Qambari, Mubarak Shakh reinforced the fortress, which stood on the bank of river Kukcha sui and changed its name into “Qala-i-Zafar (the fortress of Victory)”. Mubarak Shakh joined to Nasir Mirza when Nasir Mirza became ruler of Badakshan. “At the time Mubarak Shah and Zubair had again joined Nasir Mirza, spite of former resentments and bickerings, and they all were lying at Shakdan, below Kishm…” [“B”, on folio 183 b; 184 a]. Later they fought with each other and Nasir Mirza escaped to Kabul. At this time Zubair Raghi executed Mubarak Shakh, and Babur sent Sultan Uwais Mirza- mirza Khan to Badakhshah. “Zubai Raghi killed Mubarak Shakh and seized the throne. So, Mirza Khan in his turn executed Zubair Raghi”.
