5. Role-plays and simulations: Role-plays and simulations can be used to practice how to express agreement and disagreement in realistic situations. This can help learners build confidence and improve their ability to use these expressions in real-life situations.[34,920]
Role-Play 1: Discussion between a Spanish teacher and a student about a book.
(Student: What do you think of the book we read in class today?)
(I completely agree with you, the book is very interesting.)
(Yes, it has many themes that are relevant to students today.)
(However, I didn't like the ending, I think it was very disappointing.)
(I understand your point of view, but for me, the ending was surprising and revealing.)
Role-Play 2: Argument between two colleagues in a Korean company.
(Miraeye uijiil ttae saramdeurreun i jayuroun siseumeseo hullung-han hyeolgwae-reul eodeulgeot-ida.)
(When it comes to willpower for the future, people will achieve great results in this free system.)
(Geulaeseo dangshineun igeosi oneul-nallo yeon-gyeol-doe-go geungjeongjeog-in hyeolgwae-reul gajyeool geosi-rago midneun-daneun geongayo?)
(So do you think this will lead to positive results that are connected to the present day?)
Colleague 1: 그렇게 봐야지. (Geureohge bwayají) (That's how it should be seen.)
(Hajiman, geureohge isangjeogin sanghwangmankeum isangjeogin hyeolgwae-reul eodeul su eobda.) (However, you cannot always achieve ideal results as ideal situations.)
(Ige museun uimíyo?) (What does that mean?)
(Naneun danji dangshinee sanghwajeog-in shinarioleul neomu nagwang-jeog-euro bondago malharyeo-neun geojyo.) (I'm just saying that you are too optimistic about the ideal scenario.)[ 41,1537-1568]
