- The technique of conduction.
3. Depophoresis - medicament processing and sealing of the root canal by cuprous-calcium hydroxide by means of constant electric
current. The differences between electrophoresis and depophoresis are: - Instead of ions, cuprous-calcium hydroxide molecules are entered into the root canal, which are capable to cumulate in the periodont and realize antiseptic influence. - This substance, settling on the root canal walls, stimulates physiological closing of apertures. Indications to application 1. Impassable root canals, especially at chronic infections in canals 2. Broken tool in the root canal 3. Chronic periodontitis 4. Resealing of the root canal, especially after resorcin-formalin sealing 5. Root perforation 6. Endodontic treatment of molars, when the mouth opening is limited 7. Treatment of cystogranulomes and small cysts During one session of depophoresis is possible to apply no more than 5mA/min Contra-indications 1. Pregnancy 2. Malignant tumors 3. Intolerance to electric current 4. Allergy to cuprous 5. Autoimmune diseases 6. Large size cysts 7. Suppuration of radicular cysts 8. Exacerbation of chronic periodontitis 4. Electric anesthesia by direct current - anaesthetizing action of the continuous current is connected with the development of the electrotone phenomenon in the tissues, which causes nerve excitability changes, while current passes. For electric anesthesia direct current is applied from both “+” and “-” poles, but “+” is preferred. It is considered, that optimal parameters of current force at direct influence on a nervous receptor for anesthesia, are about 10-20mkА. The electric current with force more than 30mkА leads to the pulp damage and to it necrosis. The technique of conduction. The device ОЛОЗ -1 is used. The positive pole is attached to the tip, and negative one - to the patient’s ear lobe. The prepared tooth must be isolated from saliva, to avoid current leak. The chain becomes isolated at preparation. II. Application of pulse currents of low frequency and low voltage. Download 0.52 Mb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
