However, such weather does not usually last long.

The residents of Saint Petersburg (this is what they call Leningrad now) know
that even on a sunny, clear, and quiet morning it is
better not to leave home
without an umbrella, because in an hour or two the weather might change
completely.

In summer, the air temperature normally fluctuates between 15 and 25
degrees above zero.
8. The wind speed seldom exceeds 5 - 10 meters per second (18 - 36 kilometers
per hour).
