ABSTRACT.
 
Today, foreign economic activity is one of the important 
conditions for the development of countries. In the course of the evolutionary 
development of society, this field, formed from the simplest species, as the most 
important link in the branches of the economy, acquires relevance in strengthening 
the productive forces and international relations. Improving the organizational and 
economic mechanisms of the marketing strategy for the development of foreign 
economic activity of enterprises is important from a scientific and practical point of 
view. From this point of view, to identify the economic nature of the regulation of 
foreign economic activity based on current conditions, substantiate the relevant 
conclusions, evaluate development trends, develop scientific and methodological 
recommendations, and assess the level of development of these areas of foreign 
economic activity. Foreign trade today, the development of a method of harmonious 
management based on the approach to improve economic security fundamentals is 
one of the urgent tasks. In the process of globalization, the development of the 
national economy becomes more and more dependent on foreign economic relations. 
This is influenced by the steady growth of the production potential and consumer 
markets of the partner countries. Modern social and economic development requires 
national economies to have a system of protection against the problems of world 
changes in order to benefit from the global system and protect themselves from its 
negative consequences. Therefore, in the period of independent development, our 
country prioritizes the development of a market economy and the modernization of 
national production, and in order to achieve long-term strategic goals and gain a 
strong position in the international economic system, foreign countries have 
constantly deepened economic ties and integration into the world community. The 
article discusses the foreign trade of Uzbekistan and its importance in the 
development of the economy, which examines the theoretical foundations of foreign 
trade, aspects of the fact that the development of the national economy is becoming 
increasingly dependent on foreign economic relations in the process of globalization.
