INTRODUCTION 
In our country, special attention is paid to the development of scientific and 
technological potential and its effective use as a major factor in economic growth. 
Therefore, our state supports the creators of innovative techniques and technologies, 
encourages them materially and spiritually. 
Currently, the successful solution of socio-economic problems, the opening 
of new enterprises, the introduction of energy-saving technologies, the production 
of export-oriented, import-substituting products and the accumulation of foreign 
exchange reserves in the country largely depend on the level of national innovation. 
Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov is one of 
the leading universities in the field of training in technical areas for the country's 
economy, as well as an effective institution for the integration of education, 
science and industry. 
According to the plan of international conferences of the Tashkent State 
Technical University, on April 20-21, 2023 year, the III International Scientific and 
Technical Conference was held on the topic “Problems and prospects of innovative 
technique and technology in agri-food chain”.
Currently conducted international research is mainly aimed at solving 
global technical, technological and commodity problems of enterprises in the real 
economy, reduction of costs at industrial enterprises, replacement of raw 
materials with local materials, increase of economic efficiency due to saving o f 
energy and resources. 
When conducting research at the Tashkent State Technical University, along 
with professors and teachers, talented students, masters and senior researchers of 
the university are actively involved. Based on the results of scientific projects, 
talented young scientists successfully defend their master's and doctoral 
dissertations, receive patents for inventions and a certificate for computer software, 
publish articles and abstracts in international and national collections.
The international conference was held in the following plenary and industry 
areas: mechanical engineering, mechanics and agricultural machinery, food and 
agricultural technologies, ecology, biomedicine, biotechnology, food chemistry and 
chemical technology, mathematical modeling and automation of technological 
processes, energy-saving technologies and alternative energy sources.
The international conference was attended by more than 500 participants, 
including foreign scientists, academics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic 
of Uzbekistan, academics of the Uzbek Agricultural Research and Production 
Center, professors, researchers, senior researchers, applicants, undergraduates and

gifted students of Tashkent State Technical University and more than 20 universities. 
We hope that the collection of scientific papers will be of great interest to 
representatives of educational institutions, the general scientific community, specialists 
in production and industrial enterprises.
