Past Perfect Simple o’tgan zamonda biror ish-harakatdan yoki paytdan oldin sodir bo’lgan ish-harakatlarni ifodalashda ishlatiladi.

e.g. They had finished science till I came back.
When I arrived home, my lovely sister had fallen asleep.
I had washed my hands, before I ate my meal.

For, since, always va shu kabi so’zlar Past Perfectda ham ishlatilishi mumkin. Bu holatda ish-harakat o’tgan zamondagi malum bir vaqtdan yoki ish harakatdan oldin sodir bolgan boladi.

e.g. My father had worked in this company for 7 years last month.
Yesterday at 10, I had already fallen asleep.

After + Past Perfect, Past Simple

Past Simple + after + Past Perfect
e.g. After we had written the examples, the teacher cleaned the board.
The teacher cleaned the board after we had written the examples.
After they had had lunch, they watched their lovely soap opera.
They watched their lovely soap opera after they had had lunch.

e.g. Before I entered the lesson, I had cleaned my all minuses
