In Jadid poetry, there are a certain quantity of old Turkish lexical units (the 7th-10th centuries) and primary old Turkish language (the 11th-12th centuries). They are classified into fourteen thematic groups. The words which are not used in Uzbek literary language and very old are the following: қопуғ (a door, gate), озиқ (food), туз (food), чоғир (wine), оғоч (tree), оғу (poison), уғур (happiness), уғурли (happy), осиғ (profit), тамуғ (hell), учмоҳ (paradise), ёзуғ (guilt), қапуғчи (a guard)‚ асру (plenty), ариғ (pure), билик (knowledge), ўксуз (an orphan), пучмоқ (corner) (Fitrat); қамуқ (everyone), ёғлиғ (a shawl, handkerchief), аёқ (a cup, a glass)‚ оғоч (tree), ёзуғ (guilt, sin), қўноқ (guest), тўнак (prison), ошлиқ (wheat, food) (Chulpan); илик (hand), оғоч (tree), карпич (brick)‚ очун (world), дақи (again) (Elbek);. усрук (drunk)‚ илик (hand) (Ibrat); эв (home), қапу (door, gate) (Ajzi); ёзуқ (sin), ўксиз (orphan, poor) (Sufizada); илик (hand) (Kami); билик (knowledge), томуғ (hell) (Khondayliqiy); оғоч (tree), ўртук (curtain), битик (book), мунг (mourning)‚ ёзуғ (sin), тамуғ (hell), очун (world, universe), тегра (surrounding), йўқсил (poor), егу (food), дағи (again) (Botu). Their quantity proportion is different. That is, in the works of Fitrat, Chulpan, Elbek, Botu there are a lot of such words, but in the poetry of Ajzi, Ibrat, Sufizada and Kami they are very few. In the works of Abdulhamid Majidi, Sidki Khondayliki there are almost not used such words. We can conclude that ancient Turkish words were not in wide use in the literature at the beginning of the 20th century.
