ARTISTIC SYNTHESIS OF SYMBOLIC IMAGES IN THE STORIES OF MAMATQUL 
HAZRATKULOV

Annotation: Until today, humanity has undergone many updates since its inception. 
Of course, these evolutions cause changes in his psyche, mind, and thinking. That's why 
the issue that is on the shoulders of the writers of the present time is to reflect the human 
spirit and artistry in the works more deeply. For this, many branches of our artistic literature 
are using the forms of artistic convention, i.e. symbols. In this article, issues such as the 
understanding of the human psyche, the use of artistic images, symbols and symbols were 
revealed, especially on the example of the work of Mamatkul Hazratkulov and the stories 
"Red and Green" and "Choli Iraq" from his book "Gladiolus". Psychological analysis methods 
were used more in the article.

Introduction. Fiction covers many issues, one of them is the understanding of the 
human psyche. Every artist pays great attention to the artistic weight of his works. To 
increase this weight, they use different symbols. Of course, works of art cannot be imagined 
without symbols. Because any mature work of art is attractive with symbols, metaphors and 
artistic movements. He lives with them. The life of such works will be long. After all, as our 
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said: "If literature, art and culture live, the nation and the 
people, the whole humanity will live peacefully." In fact, a hundred years ago, one of the 
most mature figures of our literature, Cholpon, said: "If literature lives, the nation lives." So, 
the attention to literature in our nation has been formed since ancient times and has been 
left as a legacy to young generations like us. It is our duty to preserve the heritage. 
The works of journalist Mamatqul Hazratkulov, who has served in the Republic of 
Uzbekistan, attract the reader through their special symbols. Adib was born in 1947 in the
