and Green" , a collection of stories and short stories such as "Doors are open", "Ko`kkol", 
"Diyar", "Sevgi sozi" was published. Plays such as "I have shown a lot of love", "Mehmon", 
"Qadrim", "Effendi's new adventures" were performed in the theaters of our republic. The 
works of Mamatkul Hazratkulov are loved by many readers. We come across many symbolic 
images in the writer's work. Especially in the stories "Red and Green", "Desert Iraq" the 
psyche of the heroes is explained through various symbols. 
In the title of the story "Red and Green" which begins with the hadith "All actions are 
based on intention" found in Imam Bukhari's book "Al-Jome as-sahih", symbolism is created 
through colors. However, it is difficult to know the symbolic meaning of these colors without 
reading the whole story. The work shows the trying life events of a couple with two different 
worldviews. It is no exaggeration to say that the writer chose the names of the heroes based 
on their inner state and character. The profession of Muslima Sharipova, who faced many
