This is the Observation Rubric you will use when you watch some classroom videos together and when you do your master class, self- and peer observations.
We will use the first two sections of the CoP Rubric -- “All CoP Sessions” includes two of the 6Ps.
Students were interested/engaged in the activities of the lesson.
Students used English (full sentences) to communicate.
Who would like to read #1 under All CoP Sessions for us from the handout? Who would like to read #2? (Have mentees read aloud.)
TRANSITION: Now let’s put what we learned into practice. We will watch a couple of very short videos and observe for evidence (proof) that the teacher is applying two of the 6Ps. We will use the Observation Rubric to decide how the activities match with what you learned today.
