Criteria for the effectiveness of pedagogical diagnostics of drug behavior: 
motivational-target, procedural and effective, their indicators and specific features 
characteristic of high, medium and low levels; pedagogical target program for the 
diagnosis of drug behavior of pre-conscription and army youth, including the following 
structural elements: the goal, subjects, objects, methodological tools, time frames, the 
content of diagnostic activities, the predicted result. 
The main ways of increase of efficiency of pedagogical diagnostics of drug use 
behavior and military pre-conscription youth, which are implemented subject to a 
number of pedagogical conditions for the successful solution of the practical problems 
of pedagogical diagnostics of drug use behavior: the increase of efficiency of 
preparation of officers to conduct educational assessment of drug use behavior pre-
conscription and an army of young people; improving the meaningful foundations of 
pedagogical diagnostics of drug use behavior pre-service and army youth; 
organizational and methodological support for pedagogical diagnostics of drug 
behavior of pre-conscription and army youth.
