PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY ON FORMATION OF VALUE RELATIONS TO 
MILITARY SERVICE AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE OF MILITARY AGE

Annotation: The military system does not become a serious obstacle to the 
spread of drug addiction. The current situation requires the military authorities to take 
comprehensive measures for timely and high-quality pedagogical diagnostics of drug 
behavior of pre-conscription and army youth. Such a need is determined, first of all: 
the negative impact of drug addiction on the state of military discipline and order in 
military units, the threat of use of various types of weapons and military equipment to 
soldiers in a state of narcotic intoxication, the possibility in the service period of 
initiation of drug use other troops, communications troops anesthesia with organized 
crime, the relationship of addiction with other types of deviant behavior.

The purpose of the study was to substantiate the content, organization and 
methodology of pedagogical diagnostics of drug behavior of pre-conscription and army 
youth and the main ways to improve its effectiveness. 
Tasks of the dissertation research: 
1. To reveal the theoretical and applied bases of pedagogical diagnostics of 
narcotic behavior of pre-conscription and army youth. 
2. Develop a pedagogical target program for pedagogical diagnostics of drug 
behavior of pre-conscription and army youth and test it experimentally. 
3. To substantiate the main ways to improve the effectiveness of pedagogical 
diagnostics of drug behavior of pre-conscription and army youth. 
The following propositions were put forward as a hypothesis of the study. 
In modern conditions there is a contradiction between the dramatically 
increasing number of youth with experience in illicit traffic and consumption of 
narcotic and toxic substances, and low level of efficiency of pedagogical diagnostics 
of drug use behavior pre-service and army youth. This contradiction can be eliminated
