Abstract
This article explains the meaning of the existing terms of the Uzbek 
press and publications. They explain the meaning of new and foreign 
words. The semantic features of the terms expressing the richness of the 
national language are considered. The history of the introduction of terms 
related to the national press is highlighted.
Key words: advertising, journalist, correspondent, information and 
legal relations, information, information balance, information business, 
media, information city.
