GLOSSARY
1.Method - from Ancient Greek - méthodos, “pursuit of knowledge, investigation, mode of prosecuting such inquiry, system”.
2.Methodology is a system of practices and procedures that a teacher uses to teach. It will be based on beliefs about the nature of language, and how it is learnt (known as 'Approach').
3. CEFR is a document the reference of six levels is given and designed as illustrative descriptors (scales) in the term “Can Do” statements from level A1 to C2
4.Aim is the plod of planned results and consequences of imagination.
5.The practical aim: the acquisition of a FL as a means of communication. 


6.Practical aims cover habits and skills which pupils acquire in using a foreign language.
7.A habit is an automatic response to specific situations, acquired normally as a result of repetition and learning.
8.A skill is a combination of useful habits serving a definite purpose and requiring application of certain knowledge.
9.The educational aim: through FL study we can develop the pupil’s intellect. Teaching a FL helps the teacher to develop the pupils’ voluntary and involuntary memory, his imaginative abilities and will power.
10.Cultural aims: learning a FL makes the pupil acquainted with the life, customs and traditions of the people whose language he studies through visual material and reading material; with the countries where the target language is spoken.
11.Scientific approach implies careful determination of what and how to teach to achieve the aims set by the syllabus.


12.The principle of durability implies the ability of a pupil to keep in his memory linguistic and language material.
13.The principle of conscious approach to language learning implies comprehension of a linguistic phenomenon of language material by the pupil
